Recommended Directions for Applying Printed Stickers and Labels
CLEAN SURFACE:  The surface should be clean of dust, grit or oils.  Alcohol or a solvent cleaner may be used on non-painted surfaces, but should be tested in an out of sight area first. Oils from your hands can contaminate the surface and adhesive.
FIRM PRESSURE:  The adhesive is activated with pressure. Applying the label from one side to the other will help prevent air from being trapped under it.
WARM TEMPERATURES:  Adhesive sticks better and cures better in warm temperatures. It will also stick better if the surface is textured.  Cold temperatures will cause the adhesive to have less tack and it will tale longer to cure. It is recommended that the label and surface temperature be between 70-90°F before applying.  When storing labels, keeping them between 60-90°F is recommended.
GIVE THEM TIME:  The pressure of applying a label begins the curing process.  The adhesive will become stronger over time and will fully cure in about 1-2 weeks.

240 FENDER BADGE STICKER

Old School 240 Fender Badge Replica Stickers

240 Badge Style 1: Here are some new stickers I've been playing with.  These were patterned after the old school 240 fender badges that came on cars from 1975 to 1979.  These are printed as replica stickers of the complete fender badge.  The sticker is laminated and durable just like the moose stickers.  Any of these can be made with your choice of text. 

240 Badge Style 2: The original badge size is 3.75 inches wide.  These come in the same size, unless another size is requested.  These can be made up to 4.5 inches with no additional charge. A larger size than that will be a bit more.

240 Badge Style 3: Changes in colors are possible too. And they are available with optional magnetic backing.  Please keep in mind that if you have an exact colors that needs to be matched, if may not be perfect.  And printing true metallic colors, such as silver or gold, is not possible, although it can be simulated as shown.

Fender Badge INSERTS: If you have original metal fender badges like this photo, but the printing is faded, I can make new sticker inserts. Or you can customize your inserts. These inserts may be overlayed in the frame of your original badges. Removing the old sticker inserts is not necessary. Your choice of text and colors may be added.  Please keep in mind that matching exact colors perfectly or printing metallic colors, such as silver or gold, is difficult.  So coming close will need to be acceptable in most instances. If you are restoring an original badge, sending a photo will help also or describe the design.

HIGH MILEAGE BADGE

These are reproduction vinyl stickers of the older vintage original Volvo High Mileage Club badges offered by Volvo in the 1970s (I believe).  They're 2 1/2 inches across (63 mm), same as original.  They're printed on the same high quality vinyl with UV resistant gloss lamination as my other stickers. They're available as stickers only or with magnetic backing for an extra $1. 

The original badge is 3-dimensional, with the leaves and lettering being raised.  Obviously these are not truly 3D, but they are an excellent representation and bring a classic style to your high-mile Volvo.  For now, I have made 100,000, 200,000, 300,000, 400,000, and 500,000 MILE and KILOMETER badges.  If you want one with higher mileage, please send me an email.

For domed caps, it will help to warm up the sticker as it's being applied. 
A hair dryer or heat gun, or even a lighter, will work perfectly.

VOLVO DIE CUT WHEEL CENTER DECALS

This Die Cut vinyl center wheel center cap decal may be used to restore the fading decal on your Volvo wheels.  For now these only come in WHITE, 3.5 inch size (about 90 mm). I will consider other sizes if there is enough interest.
