April 9, 2016 (Saturday) - Volvo Car Meet. Columbus, Texas. Saturday, April 9, 2016, rain or shine.
The fair city of Columbus is 70 miles west of Houston on I-10.
Sponsored by the Texas Chapter Volvo Club of America and representatives of Volvo Sports America. Open to all interested parties. No RSVP needed.
For the third time in seven years our host will be Nils Nilsson at his secluded Volvo paradise in the Piney Woods.
Our special guest in attendance will be Nils’ daughter, Anna Nilsson Hanson, who will lead the Volvo scenic drive from Columbus to the ranch in her classic 1991 244.
9am-11am: assemble in the Walmart parking lot in Columbus.
11am-1pm: Stroll to lunch at Schobel’s (across the street).
1pm-2pm: Scenic drive to Volvosang with pit stop at Hruska’s store in Ellinger.
2pm-end: (events to be determined)

October 17, 2015 (Saturday) - Volvo Car Meet in Marble Falls, Central Texas.
Free to everyone. No RSVP needed. 8AM to 6PM (rain or shine) in Johnson Park, Pavilion Two (near the public boat ramp). Park is alcohol-free and smoke-free. Volvo parking will be in the rectangular parking area near Pavilion Two. City Park ordinances prohibit parking on the grass, making loud noises or importing glass containers. Best route from the northeast is on FM 1431. Johnson Park has all amenities and is walking distance to the famous Blue Bonnet Café. www.bluebonnetcafe.net/about.

January 4, 2014 - North Texas. Early AM meet. Plus lunch meet after.
Meet at Cars and Coffee, located at Classic BMW, 6800 Dallas Pkwy (corner of W Spring Creek Pkwy), Plano, TX. This event is big and can fill up the lot fast. It's recommended to arrive before 7:30 AM if you want to park together. Any and all Volvos and Volvo enthusaiasts welcome. Then after we'll cruise over for lunch to Quaker Steak & Lube, 5584 Texas Hwy 121, Plano. Cars and Coffee happens on the first Saturday of each month, weather permitting.
